Dear Editor,
I first met Martin Dole when he was working as a young policeman on the 1990s.
I have had dealings with him in a professional capacity for many years since.
Mr Dole has always struck me as a person of intelligence, sensitivity and integrity.
He has a deep understanding of the issues facing the Northern Territory particularly in the lives of, and relationships between, Indigenous and non-Indigenous Territorians.
I will stand by his integrity.
