Chief Minister Eva Lawler has pledged to recruit 200 new police officers over the next four years ahead of the review into police resources being released and despite the Labor Government telling Territorians for years that there were enough officers to handle the escalating crime crisis.
Ms Lawler said on Wednesday that the 200 new officers over four years at a cost of $200 million was “part of my common sense approach to policing in the Northern Territory” but later suggested it was not an “easy solution” and instead “part of the whole solution”.
She’s living on another planet, and did you see Pottsy in the back ground with a nodding head like one of those little figures you see on car dash boards.
God help us because these 2 clowns can’t.

Has to say something to keep the media on side. Say something and be proved a clown, say nothing and people may doubt that you are actually are a clown.
The cost of this inept and stupid government is $200,000,000. That is a lot of money to fix the mess that Labor have created. A lot of money to fix a problem that until 2 weeks ago Labor denied was a problem. A lot of money to win an election in August. $200,000,000 is nothing compared to the cost of the harm and pain Labor have inflicted on the Northern Territory over a long period. They do not deserve to be re-elected and lets hope Territorians can see though this obvious stunt. Where are the police coming from and how long until they are walking a beat?

200 recruits over 4 years? That is 50 a year. Isn’t that number the graduation result from the last intake. Is it really on top of current recruitment or just a number which already exists? Again lots of words to confuse the issue which is already confused.
Don’t waste that money on necessities, let’s whack in another overpass somewhere.
