  1. I told you so
    “One flag too many”

    • Can’t even organise a pi@& up, I mean a fire works display. We can only hope the CLP WILL do better.

  2. The only risk that has changed at Mindil Beach over the last 20 years is that Potter is now Minister of Major Events. Potter said there were complaints to the Aboriginal Protection Authority (APA) but would not tell us what the complaint was or who lodged it. He was wrong, there was a single complaint made to Major Events? Why, what and who?? Why didn’t Major Events refer the complaint to APA for advice? Potter said that APA advised them to move the event – wrong. Potter said the risk was too great for Major Events – what risk? The scared site is very small and could be fenced off thus mitigating the risk. Potter said the event had been moved to the Waterfront and could not be moved back to Mindil – wrong again. This bloke is obviously not across his brief but is this how Labor runs its government, a single complaint made to Major Events caused the entire thing to be moved? I might complain about the V8s.

    • That sacred site is way over near Little Mindl on the opposite side of casino – nowhere near the beach where the markets and Fireworks are – turn it up ! Another brown paper bag story

  3. Would have been another stuff up with an election looming. Just shows the discord and confusion in government ranks

  4. Now to get them to backflip on the “ripened ovaries on fallopian tubes”‘ monstrosity that is meaningless to the Cyclone Tracy celebrations.

  5. Dribble, dribble, dribble. What a mob of clowns running the show.

  6. “Some confusion and misinformation” Ha, a hallmark of this incompetent rabble.

  7. “Until I actually, physically, see that complaint myself, I’m not going to commit to making it public,” he said” How long for an email to be sent, call bs on this statement

    • In that comment, Potter admits to making the decision to move the fireworks display without having seen the ‘complaint’. Potter is full of it.

  8. Typical. This government is more full of 💩 than a 🚽.
