EXCLUSIVE: The Labor Government’s Speaker secretly approved “clarifications” to MLAs’ taxpayer-funded entitlements to permit politicians to use government fuel cards for personal interstate travel, with Attorney General Chansey Paech the first to take advantage, charging taxpayers for a personal holiday to Adelaide from Alice Springs earlier this year while the crime crisis was at its peak, the NT Independent can reveal.
Mr Paech – who is paid more than $292,000 a year as a Labor Minister – charged taxpayers $827.67 combined over four fuel stops on his government fuel card, including at an inner-city Adelaide service station and in SA’s wine country, during a personal trip in his taxpayer-funded electorate vehicle. The trip appears to have commenced on December 24 and lasted nearly three weeks, according to a quarterly fuel report tabled in Parliament this week.

Labour is Dodgy AND Incompetent!
What else would you expect from Labor, quietly change the rules and keep it hidden, then charge Territory taxpayers for your fuel and car to go on a personal holiday interstate.
Just greedy pigs when they are well paid and could afford to finance their own holidays.
NTG ALP Gay Mafia still in control, just about to write 6th letter of complaint for investigation regarding the inconsistent & corrupt 2013-21 Darwin DPP but realise Chansey is part of the secret cartel so nothing will change.
Send the complaint!
The Gay Mafia Boss left years ago!
Scumbags the lot of them. Labor just don’t care about Territorians, they only seem to care about enriching themselves and destroying the NT.
Everything about Chansey just makes my skin crawl. He is an embarrassment to the NT.
There seems to be no limits to what these grubs will do, talk about snouts in the trough, oink oink.
