Territory Labor appears not to have learned any lessons from an ICAC investigation into its misuse of public funds during the 2020 election campaign, with the Auditor-General finding the now-Opposition members used taxpayer-funded staff to produce party-political social media posts in recent months, in breach of the Public Information Act.
The Auditor-General’s finding follows a long-delayed ICAC report into how former chief minister Michael Gunner’s staff used taxpayer money and resources to perform party political campaign work in the lead up to the 2020 election, finding the government staffers knew it was “inherently improper” but did it anyway.

They are born and bred in a system that has little to no consequences, accepts mediocrity, rewards cronyism and nepotism, ignores hypocrisy and double standards and seems intent on scoring cheap political points instead of sitting down to work out solutions to problems.
