Chief Minister Natasha Fyles must immediately divest her shares in gas giant Woodside Energy or abstain from any further Cabinet discussions and public promotion of the Middle Arm industrial precinct, a leading national integrity expert says, amid a growing political storm for the Territory Labor leader.
The NT Independent revealed on Monday that Ms Fyles has an undisclosed number of shares in Woodside Energy – a proponent of the proposed carbon capture and storage hub at the Middle Arm precinct – a project she has been spruiking around the country at taxpayer expense.
Wonder if Fyles constant lies & treating the tax-payers like morons will be her undoing. It will be interesting to watch David Pocock in Senate Estimates to find out the truth.
