An inquiry into all executive police appointments made by disgraced former commissioner Michael Murphy is reportedly done, with a draft report and recommendations sitting with those in charge for weeks, the NT Police Association says, but neither the Police Minister or the Acting Police Commissioner will confirm or explain when the findings will be made public.
The inquiry, led by Justice Alan Blow, was first called in March in the aftermath of Mr Murphy being sacked over an ICAC report finding he had mismanaged a conflict of interest in appointing his mate Peter Kennon to Assistant Commissioner, which the ICAC found was a misuse of public resources and amounted to “negligence and incompetence”.

Finn must finally admit the CLP won
Mr Finn manages the most powerfull union lobby in the NT!
The CLP have won when he says they have won!
And given the CLP has not even bothered in dismantling the ALP Apparatus in the NT Public Service…..methinks they are resigned to a one term stint! Look at how many friends and family they are trying to cram in.
