The GEMCO mine on Groote Eylandt has been broken into for a third time in less than two months, sources have said.

Several sources told the NT Independent four people broke into the mine and were seen at a fueling station sometime after midnight on Monday morning, with one source saying staff were ordered to retreat to a safe room.
