The Fyles Government shot down independent MLA Robyn Lambley and the CLP’s motion in Parliament to have government members currently under investigation by the ICAC declare their conflicts of interest and recuse themselves before debating amendments to the ICAC Act.
Ms Lambley raised the issue Tuesday morning as the Independent Commissioner Against Corruption continues his investigation into allegations the Labor Government misused taxpayer funds for party campaigning purposes at the 2020 NT election.

They introduced a nuetered ICAC with instructions not to investigate anything to seriously, which ICAC have done a smashing job on!
Now that several Politicians and political donators have been investigate, they want to remove more powers from a organisation that has not successfully prosecuted anyone!
