Former NSW Ambulance commissioner Dominic Morgan has been appointed chief executive officer of the Royal Flying Doctor Service SA/NT, weeks after the organisation was awarded the NT Government’s $625 million aeromedical retrieval contract for the Top End.

In an internal message, RFDS SA/NT board chair Peter de Cure said Mr Morgan was an exceptionally experienced health and emergency services leader, with more than 35 years of experience across emergency and non-emergency health care, including significant leadership experience in aeromedical services, and more than 17 years as a chief executive.
