A Federal Court judge has ordered a temporary halt to Santos laying its Barossa gas pipeline in the Timor Sea after lawyers for Tiwi Islands traditional owner Simon Munkura this week sought an injunction.
Federal Court Justice Natalie Charlesworth said in a Thursday ruling that there was merit to Mr Munkura’s argument about cultural heritage risks in the area and that the matter would be heard on November 13.
Useless greenie keep funding crazy claims and using Aboriginals to further their causes. They are all so deeply concerned that they demand money to attend meetings and then anyone that doesn’t attend can be used by the environmental activists to complain about lack of consultation. Must be great to be able to hire an anthropologist to dream up new dreaming sites. Is that just another for of job security?
