The skies will be louder than normal following today’s opening of Exercise Pitch Black 2024, that will see 20 countries participating this year, including 140 fighter jets and 4,400 personnel participating in the RAAF’s largest-ever NT-based exercise running until August 2.

Air Commodore Peter Robinson, in charge of the Pitch Black, said the latest exercise surpasses previous exercises in scale.
