An 83-year-old Katherine man who gave three female youths a ride home was later allegedly assaulted by the girls who stole his vehicle, NT Police said, and remain at large.
The group of three females allegedly asked the man to drive them home from a service station on Bicentennial Road in Katherine around 5:30am Sunday morning.
Katherine is getting to be like Alice. Seems to be a lot of girls getting into crime. Often the same group.
