  1. Now it’s Labor’s turn to show some backbone.

  2. Steve is a man of his word and worked tirelessly for the people of the Barkly. If only Labor had some integrity

  3. 90% of domestic Violence in the NT is committed by Aboriginals, in fact over 90% of all crime is committed by Aboriginals, and the Labor party does stuff all about it.
By all accounts Steve Edgington has a lot to do with Aboriginals in his electorate, certainly more than the dill we call CM and the Flog from Fanny Bay

  4. Have a look at Parliament House.
Every person who works at Parliament House has to submit a criminal history. That means people with a criminal history can not lay carpet or serve coffee in the coffee shop.
All NT public servants must be cleared for employment.
But!! If your a politician or an advisor in the NT you can access very sensitive information and important people without any sort of probity check.
Brent Potter for example, got a job on the 5th floor as the Police Advisor without a criminal history check or any police history. This clearly shows the difference between Politicians and the real world.
My guess is that all the Labor Party Aboriginal Liaison Officers (ALO) are Aboriginal however, Labor have a long history of jobs for the boys. How many of the Labor ALOs have had a criminal history checks?
Labor jumped on this very hard because they had to divert attention from their own skeletons.

    .

  5. Make it compulsory for politicians and advisers to have a police check, the same as NT public servants. Let’s start now and see how many skeletons in the closet turn up.
