Keith Kerinauia has been sentenced to 20 years in prison for the murder of bottle shop employee Declan Laverty, which is the mandatory minimum sentence for murder in the Northern Territory.
Kerinauia, now 20, stabbed Mr Laverty to death while he was working his shift at the Airport Tavern BWS on March 19, 2023 during an altercation between the men.

I know plenty of students who are security guards at bottle shops! Its a very violent job and they are all desperate to get other roles, if not leave the Territory all together. Some have been seriously hurt on the job.
I dont remember seeing security guards at a huge Dan Murphys in Adelaide, why is that?
The judge must be kidding. A deliberate attack, a history of violent attacks, no acceptance of responsibility and no remorse, yet gets the minimum sentence. way past time for draining the swamp
