The death of a 59-year-old male corrections inmate at Royal Darwin Hospital on Sunday is being investigated as a death in custody, but the NT Independent understands it is not being treated as suspicious.

Corrections confirmed the man died on Sunday August 3, at RDH, and would be “subject to investigation by the Northern Territory Coroner”.
