  1. RDH has 70%-85% itinerants in its wards on any given day*!
If their was a free food and fee accommodation service for itinerants in the CBD, how empty would that Hospital be?

*Some random Government bean counter mentioned.

    • There are at least ten Aboriginal funded health services in the NT it is time Chris find out why they exist and what they do.

  2. If that percentage of 70%-85% substantially correct . . . and the need for free food etc; then Territory Govt(s) are the only source open to a solution? Or those politicians responsible, simply don’t care or prioritize the Medical staff’s, deep concerns, if not anguish. It is a failed Govt hand-off of responsibilities. An endemic failure avoiding a direct Indigenous need of support and care? Dump it on the Hospital and medical staff. That way we hide and deny? Whatever the priority or reality; over all recent decades each Govt elected, blatantly, failed community expectations. Medical staff run into the ground. The core concern now, of every territorian: Evasion and corruption of NT Governance.

    • Labor left no money for hospital services.

      • Ladies & Gents! Prepare for Hospital financing!

The prices are not right but you get
        (a) the gist
        (b) why when RDH admits you they ask you where you live!
A non indigenous person living urban at RDH gets $1 funding from the feds.
A indigenous person living urban at RDH gets $1,5 funding from the feds.
A indigenous person living remote at RDH gets $2 funding from the feds.

If you throw out the I-wanna-free-bed-and-free- feed people, that hospital is broke tomoroow.

Remember when you are admitted next time, do the NTG coffers a favour and tell them you identify as indigenous and are currently living in Galawinku!
