So non-aboriginal Tax Paying Australians must pay for a lawyer to represent them yet the non-employed aboriginal (tax payer funded) welfare recipients get tax payer funded legal assistance and we are saddened by NAAJA’s dysfunction..
Many people got very rich!
To be fair,
indigenous people do need a indigenous focused legal service!! I think a bare bones, no board in the way, run by 1 CEO service would be a great start!
I cannot imagine the impact on the court system and the clients this is having right now!
