More cases of diphtheria reported in the NT
The NT has recorded 84 cases of diphtheria since January 1 last year, NT Health said on Tuesday, with 66 of those cases involving skin sores, as incidents of the uncommon bacterial infection that can cause severe illness in unvaccinated individuals continues to grow.

NT Police continue search for missing five-year-old girl as man identified
NT Police have identified a 47-year-old man they say may have information about the disappearance of a five-year-old girl who went missing from Old Timers Camp in Alice Springs on Saturday around 11:30 pm, with police deploying helicopters, all-terrain vehicles and drones in hopes of locating the missing girl.
