The Finocchiaro CLP Government says it will permanently tear out the vines at the Cavanagh Street shade structure, but will not replace them, stating the structure will remain with new lights installed to create a “modern, ambient streetscape”, while not providing any costs for the new project.
The ‘shade-less shade structure’ as it has come to be known was built by the Gunner Labor government in 2018 and came to represent their approach to governing by continually failing to fix the problem of the vines not growing.
Never accept the obvious. Until all else determined, denied. Not forgotten! Only then Flags of Peace ‘enmeshed’, that draw an eye. We will all . . . STILL FRY!
Keep it and let the vines die! Place a sign on it calling it a Labours Muesum of Debt and Success.
