Next-that last comment on Territorians being apathetic sheep! The reality is Territorians, like most Aussies are to busy enjoying life, we all are guilty of expecting governance to act in our best interests in compliance, accountability with futurevision, compassion, respect and safety! In this today world of Australian politics we Australians have been forced to question our governance, we are fearful of their modus operandi, we are collectively putting “ normal carefree lifestyles “aside and unifying to exercise that great trait of protection for each other that Aussies are renowned for! A sad state of affairs indeed! With all the questionable ALPCLP governance, more recently the questionable actions of LiaR it is evident not only her arrogance with accountability and disclosure as a public officer to Territorians, but what she appears to consider right and wrong which blurs that which is to be reasonably and legal norms traditionally! I enquired about this KIRKMAN human and this is what l found and communicated to a colleague! Following our brief call l attempted, unsuccessfully to contact LiaR, Maley and Andrew McKay( member for Goyder) I called Fisheries in this number 8999 2144, “ name withheld) answered and informed me that Andrew Kirkman had retired. When l mentioned he had been seen driving a government vehicle, ( name withheld) replied “ oh that’s because he works for another agency”! Regards Darren Nugent Territorians must appreciate that all CLP MLA’s are political virgins, they do not have the courage or respect for their respective constituents in that WE have not heard one of them question any of the CLP Oligarth LiaR on any or all of the many discrepancies! This is the danger of a party- strength if representation in an elected individual is placed fairly and squarely under the party thumb! I’m creating a new party to be called The Independant Alliance Party (( copyright)! This party constitution will only mention the exercise of true democracy in functioning and governance! That’s democratic process flowing from the election process, into the party room and into governance- let’s face it majority rules is powerful. Keep well
This issue is not about Kirkman. It is about Chief Minister Finocchiaro’s refusal to account for her denial to acquit her responsibilities to the Electorate. Fascism is not yet entrenched throughout the Northern Territory. But corruption is a deep challenge. And accordingly, it is a necessity, that governance be open, available and accountable?
