Current Anti-Discrimination Commissioner Jeswynn Yogaratnam told Estimates last month that his office had advised the government against changing the Act.
I dont think these new Terriorians know how things work round these here parts!!!!
Its more of a “Yes Minister” sort of town
’emphasising that it was developed through “extensive consultation” with the Anti-Discrimination Commissioner’
After which they ignored his advice.
Who better to know about Discrimination than an online marketing saleswoman masquerading as a legal eagle ahead of the Anti-Discrimination Commissioner, legally trained and with years of expert knowledge.
Are Territorians aware of section 351 (2) (c) in the Fair Work Act (Cth) of the Commonwealth Parliament?
It states –
351 (2) However, subsection (1) does not apply to action that is:
(c) if the action is taken against a staff member of an institution conducted in accordance with the doctrines, tenets, beliefs or teachings of a particular religion or creed–taken:
(i) in good faith; and
(ii) to avoid injury to the religious susceptibilities of adherents of that religion or creed.
