The Finocchiaro CLP Government is spending $82.1 million on two large-scale battery storage projects it says will improve energy security and grid stability in Alice Springs and Katherine.

The battery storage project supports the next phase of the Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) program, managed by Territory Generation, with Pacific Energy awarded the latest contract for the project.
