Three men have been charged for allegedly stealing up to 400 head of cattle from a station in central Australia in August, NT Police said.

Police director of communications Mark Wilton said in a statement the men aged aged 37, 50, and 65 were each issued a notice to appear in relation to alleged cattle theft from a property north of Alice Spring in August.
