A 23-year-old man has been charged with the abduction of a 12-year-old boy in Alice Springs last month, after being extradited from South Australia.

The NT Police earlier reported that the boy was last seen entering the school grounds of Braitling Primary School on the morning of February 27, but he did not attend class that day. The boy’s abrupt disappearance led to a widespread search, with police expressing grave concerns for his safety.
