Why has the VC still got a job?
Good question. He probably wants to see through the set up of the ‘Campus’ in London. A total waste of money. He spends like a drunken sailor. Like what has been said – Get back to core business instead of spreading resources thinly trying to set up campuses outside of the NT. And employ qualified lecturers too! The place has been a sh*t show for years now.
Agree Charlie. He doesn’t have the academic qualifications to be a VC.
Charlie, the VC and executive of CDU, woke up one morning , several years ago, and was told
(a) The Chief Financial Officer had bolted
(b) There was a $15 million hole in the budget
(c) that his “Right Hand ‘Man'” managing a big IT project went and signed a 6 figure contract with a Big 4 Accounting organisation to manage the project, aforementioned was well paid to manage, without any VCs or executives knowing anything about it!
This administrative error with the quaifications is a slightly small storm in a tea cut!!!
Full transparency as to costs incurred should be provided. It’s not the CDU fronting up the money for this mess, it’s us taxpayers !
What can you expect when CDU Professor Boofhead was employed with only a TAFE Certificate, does not understand CDU Code of Conduct as demonstrated during the Middle Arm Senate enquiry which was embarrassing. The ALP lefties & CLP ‘job for mates’ have replaced merit, skills/qualifications with puppets who are ‘yes’ staff who tolerate corruption.
