Caravan and Camping SANT will host its inaugural Northern Territory Caravan, Camping & Outdoor Show at the Darwin Turf Club from tomorrow.
The industry association’s CEO, Phil Sinnott, said the event would bring more than 30 caravan, camping, boating and 4WD brands together, giving Territorians the chance to compare caravans, camper trailers, 4WD vehicles, off-road accessories, boats and touring gear in one location.
He said visitors would also have access to show-only deals, special promotions and immediate handovers from selected dealers.
“For our first show in Darwin, we’re really pleased to have more than 30 exhibitors coming together and, importantly, a great mix of products for visitors to see,” Mr Sinnott said.
“We have caravans and campers alongside boating, 4WD and off-road products, camping gear and accessories, so the show really reflects the way people live and travel in the Territory.”
The three-day event will also feature free family activities, including face painting, crafts, camel rides and the Little Wanderers Kids Trail, with children under 16 admitted free.
Mr Sinnott said chef Zach Green would host a live cooking demonstration combining food, culture and storytelling, while a free main stage program would cover topics including towing and caravan weights, road safety and camping in the Territory.
Tourism Top End will also provide information to help visitors plan their next Territory adventure.
The show will run from noon to 6pm on August 21 and from 9am to 3.30pm on August 22 and 23.
