Of course another indigenous leader is bestowed a honorary doctorate!
God forbid a indigenous leader is bestowed a qualification they actually studied for. That would be genuinely news worthy as its genuinely rare and a real proud moment for any school.
Of course its Pat Anderson, famous for her disastrous stewardship of Batchelor Institute (reported in several media articles) as well as her “Vote Yes” Campaign which, arguably, may have damaged the campaign.
You think anyone cares about her title when they find out she did ZERO study or work for it?
Let me double down on that claim. A honorary doctorate from BIITE means nothing! You would receive laughter in the NT not respect when informing people. As a former BIITE employee who has met the teachers and the graduates, I advise you may as well as BUY a fake Diploma from the internet, people wont laugh as much!
I encourage the entire BIITE board, to be bestowed a honorary doctorates from BIITE, in case their is another national shortage of toilet paper.
Another proud indigenous leader is Richard Fejo, has a honorary doctorate from Flinders University. Has “Dr” in his title. No study though and I am sure that lack of study shows.
Big praise for anyone who attended the classes and completed the schoolwork, did the actual weekly tutes, burnt the hours studying after working all day, completed the assignments, argued with the lecturers, the school administration and fellow students, handed up the projects and passed the exams. Thats what a qualification is.
ZERO praise for the proud fakes who indicate they are recipients of a free ride when they simply start talking or have several publicly available scathing, assessments from Investigative bodies and auditing bodies.
Please feel free to contact the Board at BIITE via enquiries@batchelor.edu.au and ask if theres any spare honoury doctorates!
The well respected board members are:
Ms Patricia Anderson AO, Chairperson
Peter Renehan Institute Council Member
Joe Martin-Jard, Institute CEO and Council Member
Monica Barolits-McCabe ,Institute Council Member
Patrick McKenzie, Staff Council Representative
Theresa Alice, Student Council Representative
And the jokes about this place continue.
