Is there anyone in the cabinet, legislative assembly or public service who possesses leadership qualities, ethics and a commitment to accountable government who could investigate these serious matters and then tell the full truth to Territorians. Has any prima facie fraud been committed by any of the relevant basketball entities or their employees and if so referred to police? Have any of them been trading insolvent and if so referred to ASIC? Are / were there any conflicts of interest between the boards and management committees of the relevant basketball entities? If so what are they and have they been referred to ASIC? We’re any NTG grants made to entities trading insolvent. If so what was the value of each grant, who recommended each one and who approved it? This was, of course another Labor fuckup. But the CLP should not run away from exposing the truth. If everyone involved has a clean bill of health they’ll be vindicated by the investigation and the public interest will be served.
