An NT Police auxiliary officer has been suspended with pay after being charged with obtaining a financial benefit by deception, police said in a statement.

Police media director Mark Wilton said the 31-year-old female auxiliary officer was served on Thursday with a notice to appear in relation to “fraud offences allegedly committed in the Northern Territory”.
