Changes to the former Litchfield Council chief executive officer’s contract signed off by the former mayor, that allowed him to keep his council car even if he was sacked for any reason, raised concerns at a confidential meeting of councillors last year, but the council has refused to say what happened and if it is being investigated.
WOW!!! The Litchfield Council ratepayers must be overjoyed to know they just funded someones personal car!
Its time to merge these little councils with the larger ones in the hope of more oversight and governance and compliance checking!
