Police said they received a report of a domestic violence incident at the Jingili residence around 10pm on Wednesday night, involving the 34-year-old man and a 33-year-old woman.

The woman reportedly received facial injuries and swelling to her eyes, police said.

Two male relatives of the woman then allegedly assaulted the man, stabbing him multiple times, resulting in him being sent to hospital in a stable condition.
