NT Police are searching for an unknown man who allegedly “grabbed” a woman as she walked alone in Alice Springs on Tuesday evening.
Police said the woman was walking along the underpass at Stott Terrace Bridge around 7:30pm, when she was “grabbed by a man unknown to her”.
The woman was reportedly able to flee the location without “serious injuries”, police said in a statement, but did not elaborate or provide any further details, including a description of the alleged offender.
The man left the scene and has not been seen since.
No description was provided, but police urged “anyone with relevant information, including dash-cam footage from the time of the incident, to come forward”.
