A fresh batch of US Marines are currently in the NT for the 13th Marine Rotational Force – Darwin, that will see the Americans conduct combined training with Australian Defence Force personnel “across a number of scenarios”.

The 2024 MRF-D rotation will continue to boost the capabilities, interoperability and readiness of the ADF, the US Marine Corps, and other participating allies that in the past has included Japan, Indonesia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam and Malaysia.
