A 28-year-old woman has been arrested for allegedly indecently exposing herself at a school this morning, the NT Police said.

NT Police director of communications Mark Wilton said in a statement that about 10:40am Thursday police received reports of a woman “acting in a disorderly manner” outside a school in Ginger Road in Zuccoli.

Police did not name the school but Mother Teresa Catholic Primary School is the only school in Ginger Rd.

Mr Wilton said police allege the 28-year-old woman was making gestures at students, kicking the school fence, and throwing and smashing objects before she indecently exposed herself.

He said she was arrested a short time later and was expected to be charged.
