UPDATED: NT Police have suspended the coronial investigation into the death of 24-year-old Yuendumu man Kumanjayi White and altered a public statement it issued claiming the decision was made “in consultation” with the Coroner, which comes as police and the government continue to reject calls for an independent investigation into the fatal incident.
