The “NT legal legend” described in media reports as backing the CLP Government’s controversial reforms to child placement legislation did not disclose that she worked for Minister Robyn Cahill as an adviser less than a month before making her submission to the parliamentary committee considering the new legislation.

Drug-sniffing dog finds meth and knives on bus passenger: Police
A 51-year-old man has been charged with drugs and weapons offences after the bus he was travelling on from Katherine to Palmerston was stopped by police and searched by a drug-sniffing dog who allegedly found meth, marijuana and knives on the man, NT Police said.
