Maybe the Council should ask the ratepayers if this is an appropriate expenditure whilst increasing rates. How much ‘Community Art’ is required to satisfy the dreams of our Council? Maybe we just paint a picture on everything.
I have seen some great home-made letterboxes around Darwin and Palmerston that are more absorbing than this hideous waste of money.
Maybe it is a memorial to Tracey, maybe not, but whatever it is it is a total waste of rate-payers money.
Hard to pick that ‘Johnny come Lately’ Kon came from the Labor Party, the bullshit is contagious.

What we need is the source of broken glass, empty alcohol containers, used food containers, and used toilet paper removed from our parks. Its an utter disgrace. We need to be able to enjoy our parks before we build expensive monuments. That should be the Councils first priority.
Why is the CTCAC [Cyclone Tracy Commemorative Advisory Committee] subject to a gag order? A group of elected representatives and members of the public, that are making decisions for the public and spending public money should NOT be hiding from the public.
