The NT Government awarded just nine contracts in the last week to a total value of almost $3.4 million, including $1.1 million to upgrade the Palmerston bus interchange park and ride carpark.
The largest tender awarded was almost $1.7 million to Scope Building NT to build a new race control tower for the Central Australian Drag Racing Association.
In total, eight tenders totalling $3.3 million went to NT-based businesses, and one tender worth $58,000 went to a non-local enterprise.
